New student orientation sets Kahlenberg abuzz

Kahlenberg was buzzing this past week as MODUL University Vienna welcomed a fresh new group of faces to the MU community during Spring Orientation – our largest spring cohort so far. Thirty-six bachelor and master students from 21 countries spent the week getting to know MU, each other, and the city.

The week’s activities, coordinated by the Student Service Center, involved all university departments and featured an enthusiastic team of current MU student volunteers who helped welcome the newcomers to the fold. A packed schedule saw new students introduced to MU academics, community events, cultural environment and tips on getting settled in Vienna. Highlights included a cultural sharing workshop, a meet-and-greet reception with home-made cakes, a walking tour of the city centre and an elegant Welcome Soirée at theBOX nightclub. One master’s student’s feedback: “The Orientation Week was a great opportunity to get acquainted with MU. Everything was on the highest level!”

MU Vienna is happy to welcome the Spring cohort and wishes them great success during their time with us!
