MU welcomes the first Master of Management students
November 14, 2016
With the fall semester in full swing, we caught up with some members of first cohort of the new Master in Management. The new program began this fall with an international group coming from Austria, the United States, Egypt, Macedonia, Ukraine, China, Slovenia, Norway, Iran, and Armenia.
‘’I really enjoy the diversity at the university, as I am an international student myself, ‘’ says Norwegian Ingrid Hagen. ‘’I am glad that I chose to study here in Vienna, as I consider Vienna to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe; I enjoy the architecture, that it is a livable city and the fact that I feel really safe here.’’
‘’Vienna is an international city with a big opportunities,’’ adds Armenian student Vladimir Grigoryan. ‘’I like the city because you can get a good education and career development.’’ His biggest draw was the Master in Management program at MODUL University. ‘’I can say many positive things about MU, however, what I like the most is the interaction and communication between professor and student, which is a big encouragement for students. I’m looking forward to get a good education and professional development in MU!’’
The flexibility within the program is an appealing aspect for many of the students. For Ingrid, it was one of the deciding factors. ‘’I am planning to earn a certificate in Business Development as the management students have the opportunity to focus on particular specializations, which I am really excited about.’’
There are familiar faces in the new group, as some of our Bachelor graduates decided to continue their education at the Master level. ‘’ I already knew the MU community which I really enjoy!’’ says Gabriela Basovska, who graduated this summer from the BBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
A big welcome to all our new Master students, and we wish them a successful two years of study at MODUL University Vienna!
