MU says goodbye to fall exchange students
February 11, 2011
MODUL University Vienna recently bid farewell to its fall semester 2010 exchange students. Coming from England, France, Hong Kong and Spain, the students added international flair to MODUL during their five month study.
They enriched the learning environment with their diverse perspectives, and when not studying they took every opportunity to explore Vienna and embrace local culture. On one of their last evenings in town, MU invited them to a traditional Austrian restaurant to properly say ’’Auf Wiedersehen’’.
MU’s connections span the globe, with students having the opportunity
to study on 5 continents. Currently, we have 18 partner universities in
13 countries, including France, the USA, China, Australia, Chile and
the UK. A full list of our affiliations can be found at:
According to MU Vienna President Karl Wöber, 'We are very pleased with the successful launch of our international student exchange program. The goal of MODUL University Vienna is to increase the average number of incoming and outgoing exchange students by 5% every year''.
This goal is being realized, with more and more students taking advantage of the chance to study abroad as the program grows and new partners are added, such as TOBB and Bogazici Universities in Turkey. Not only do we facilitate sending our students all over the world, we also welcome a diverse faction from our partner universities. The recently commenced spring semester saw the biggest cohort of incoming exchange students to date, with students of eight nationalities from six schools beginning at MU.
