MU gears up for Orientation Week
September 12, 2011
One of the things that really sets MODUL University Vienna apart from the public universities is our small size and personal attention to all of our students. Each semester kicks off with an Orientation Week for incoming students, where they get to know each other, familiarize themselves with their new home-away-from-home, and participate in a variety of activities.
The Student Service Center’s Jesse Alexander and Kristen Riedrich are the masterminds behind the week of informative workshops, team building exercises, cultural exchanges, and a guided tour of Vienna, all culminating with a big bash on Friday night. Held previously at such swank locations as The Box at the Hilton Hotel and Elysium in the heart of the first district, our ‘freshmen’ get the chance to mingle with current students, staff and faculty in an exclusive environment before classes officially begin.
This fall, the Classes of 2013 and 2014 have marked September 26th in their calendars, as over 100 BBA, MSc and MBA students will enrich the MU community. To add to the over 50 nationalities already represented on Kahlenberg, for the first time we will welcome new Modulians from Singapore, Ecuador, Thailand and Albania.
There is still time to join the Orientation Week fun, as a few positions remain in the programs! Please contact Markus Bernhard at markus.bernhard@modul.ac.at for any further questions and to apply!
