MU faculty on Erasmus study visit in Breda, NL

As part of the ERASMUS framework, MODUL faculty Florian Aubke was invited for an extended study visit at NHTV University of Applied Sciences in Breda, The Netherlands.

The aim of this one-week study visit was to deepen the cooperation between institutions and to define areas for future collaboration, as well as to exchange expertise on how each partner deals with the challenges of hospitality and tourism education in an international environment. The visit provided insights into NHTV’s innovative education concept, and allowed both sides a critical reflection of academic teaching practices.

As a result of this visit, joint research projects were initiated, strengthening the cross-border research profile of both institutions, and thus providing access to European-level research funding. An exchange agreement between the institutions is already in place for current students, and was strengthened through the visit. NHTV’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and an international learning environment provide a worthwhile experience and addition to the study program at MU Vienna. For detailed information on exchange programs, contact the Student Service Centre at MODUL University Vienna (ssc@modul.ac.at). Further information on NHTV can be found at www.nhtv.nl.
