MODUL University runs the show

Following on from the success of last year, four teams from Modul University Vienna participated in the Wien Energie Business Run 2016, along with many other teams from companies from Austria. Ten staff members ran together with another 30,000 runners and nordic walkers from 1,123 companies.

The start and finish line of the 4.1km run was the Ernst Happel Stadium in the Viennese Prater. Aside from a quick (tired) lap of the running track in the stadium towards the end, the course worked its way through the one of Vienna’s largest and most beloved green spaces.

Our teams consisted of the Student Service Center, the Academic Office, Admissions, Management, research staff and IT! Despite the warm weather, all our participants finished the race in times they were very happy with!

''Running the Vienna Business Run was great fun and very rewarding," said Student Communications Coordinator, Darrah Lustig. "I was excited to see MODUL represented alongside so many different companies and it was a brilliant team building experience".
