La Rochelle Business School and Turismo Sant Ignasi are our newest partner universities

MU is pleased to announce two new partnerships with well-regarded European universities. As of Fall 2014, MU students will be able to attend an exchange semester at the Tourism and Hospitality school TSI-Turismo Sant Ignasi of Ramon Llull University, a Jesuit University in Barcelona, and La Rochelle Business School in France.

TSI is MU’s first partner school located in mainland Spain, offering students the chance to study in English while living in a Catalan and Spanish-speaking environment. Renowned as a top destination for tourism and business, Barcelona is an ideal setting for Tourism and Hospitality Management students to experience a another world class city and compare it’s with Vienna’s tourism practices.

Like MU, TSI’s Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality Management is accredited by UNWTO, the World Tourism Organization.

Antonia Baumgartner, International Officer in charge of the Study Abroad semester program, is enthusiastic about the new partnerships and opportunities for exchange:  ‘’We are very  pleased to include two very prestigious universities as new European partners. TSI Ramon Llull is a great exchange opportunity for our Tourism and Hospitality students, and La Rochelle Business School has extremely strong academic programs available to both our BBA and BSc students.’’

La Rochelle is one of France’s elite Business schools, located on the western coast of France on the Bay of Biscay. MU students will have the chance to study in both French and English in their program in Business and Tourism Management.

Similar in size to MU with a diverse international population, La Rochelle aims to develop an international outlook and experience of the corporate world in students. Similarly well-connected, they work closely with business parts from the tourism sector such as Reed exposition, GL Event, Sodexo, Sport Loisir, Disney, Accor, Belambra, Marriot, Hyatt, Atout France, SNAV, Odalys, and UMIH.

We look forward to welcoming students from Turismo Sant Ignasi and La Rochelle for a semester at Modul University, and wish our outgoing exchange students a fantastic learning experience at our new partner institutions!
