Karl Wöber at the 1st Seminar on Regional Tourism in Venice

Professor Karl Wöber participated at the 1st Seminar on Regional Tourism which took place at the University Ca’Foscari Venezia from 5-6 July 2012.
The aim of this international seminar with delegates from all continents was to discuss about the focus and suggested actions presented in a central document developed by the United Nations World Tourism Organization on measuring and analyzing regional tourism.
Professor Karl Wöber, who represented MODUL University Vienna in the International Network on Regional Economics, Mobility, and Tourism, presented a paper on the heterogeneity and scope of urban tourism statistics, an important market segment within regional tourism statistics.
