Football frenzy at MU Tourney

Football fever took MU by storm recently as students, faculty and staff of all backgrounds came together for the "MU Friendly Football Tourney." Fans and well-wishers were treated to a spectacle of both football and fashion, as teams got creative with personalized jerseys and even facepaint!
Mixed teams of 5, including two girls' squads, faced off in round-robin play before the elimination round decided a winner. The hotly contested final finished 3-2 on a last-second penalty (pictured above) - the winning side, the "Yagars", included players from Yemen, Australia, Russia, the USA, Austria and The Gambia. Many thanks to student organizer Salah Bakleh and all players and fans who turned out!
