Brazilian alumni keeping up Austrian ties in Sao Paulo

MU’s Brazilian alumni are still actively connected to Austria and their alma mater, as four 2010 BBA graduates recently attended a soirée at the Austrian Consul‘s residence in Sao Paulo.

The dinner honored Ms. Brigitte Jank, president of the WKW, who was in Brazil on a commercial mission concerning urban technologies. She gave a speech about the relationship between Brazil and Austria in technological exchange, as well as the role MODUL University plays in strengthening our transatlantic ties through education.

Alumni Fábio Vilela, Norberto Sampa, Jessica Buttini, and Monique Silva were introduced to the crowd as ambassadors of the university, and recounted their experiences studying at MU. The four students attended MU on WKW scholarships, and presented Ms. Jank with a small box containing a message of gratitude for the funding provided. In addition to Ms. Jank, our graduates also had the chance to hobnob with the Austrian ambassador to Brazil and various entrepreneurs, politicians, and lawyers from the Brazilian business community.
